Calcium is one of my largest concerns for my family since we are allergic to dairy/milk products. I have been studying how traditional cultures ate and have been particularity interested how each culture had completely different groups of food that they ate, yet they all had close to the same nutrition profile!

People groups in Switzerland ate primarily raw dairy products, where the natives to the North American continent crushed the bones of animals and ate them to attain their calcium.

I made a batch of beef bone broth, cooking it extra long so the bones were soft. I then crushed them into a paste and dehydrated them in my oven! Voila! I had bone powder! We have been sprinkling it on food and filling gelatin capsules to get bone into our diet on a daily basis!
