If you have been following our blog for a while, you know I am an ALL OR NOTHING type of person. I am also a GO BIG OR GO HOME typr of person. This pertains to ALL areas of my life. My walk with the Lord, my marraige, my family life, how I home educate, when I do canning, when I go on trips…

…well gardening is NO exception.

In the past we gardened at my mom’s house. We made a HUGE 200+ sq ft garden and tended that for two years.

Then we build some HUGE raised garden beds at my sisters house.

But this year… my husband FINALLY cut down the tree in our front yard so I get FULL SUN in my small little lot!!!

**JUMPING LIKE A LITTLE TODDLER ABOUT TO EAT ICE CREAM!!!!!**

Here’s how the plan went:

Me: “Hey! Let’s chop down that tree today!”

Alex: *Looks at me with a smirk on his face*

So we did!

Another conversation with one of my sisters in the Lord:

Sister: “Hey I picked up some large shipping containers I am not going to use, do you want them?”

Me: “Sure!”

Alex: “Ill go to the compost sight and grab some dirt and free mulch today…”

Me: “Great!”

Me: “Let’s go to Home Depot and get the rest of the plants and seeds I need.”

Alex: “Yeah, I need sheetrock anyway…”

Total cost: Maybe $100?
