Eight Nights and Eight Lights.
It’s one of our favorite holidays of the year! We eat so much food, do crafts, have Bible studies, throw parties, watch movies, play board games…
This year was the ULTIMATE celebration as Hanukkah fell on Christmas AND Hayven’s 8th birthday! We had over the top fun and sweet treats!
This year was our FIRST Hanukkah party. AND it happened to fall on Shabbat night! So we enjoyed taking communion with our freinds and family and remembering that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay for our sins on the cross. He broke his body and shed his blood so we may be saved. He is the light of the world! He is the Shemash candle on our Hanukkiah!
With th grand and elated holiday season coming to a close, we spent our new year in prayer reflecting on where we beleive the Lord is calling us. We wrote on paper the areas we want to work on. We penned our plans out lifting them up to the Lord. We are proud of the dilligence we have had in our walks with Jesus and excited to grow through all the trials and joys of the upcoming year! God is so amazingly good and faithful! May He receive the glory and honor all the days our the Deputie Family’s life!
